  1. Just a heads up... In the next week or two we will be making some major upgrades to the site to bring the software and server fully up to date. While the upgrade happens the site will be offline for the day. There will be some quirkiness after the upgrade, but we'll get it all sorted out.

EDEN’S FALL ‘HARMONY OF LIES’ (NOTHINGHEART RECORDS)

Out of Chicago/USA comes EDEN’S FALL, a band with a high quality full-length CD release titled ‘Harmony of lies’, which musically mixes classic 80s US Power Metal with the aggressiveness of today’s modern Metal approach, ending up sounding like a mix between METAL CHURCH, NEVERMORE, MAIDEN, TESTAMENT and ICED EARTH. The vocalstyle is aggressive and in Thrash Metal style, the guitarsound a mix of classic MAIDEN twin-guitars and big Thrash Metal riffs, while the choruses are pure Power Metal in a METAL CHURCH meets ICED EARTH style, although in general the band reminds me most of all of the last couple of ANNIHILATOR records. The CD took 2 years to make and was mixed by DAN SWANO and mastered by JAMES MURPHY, so a few well-known people helped the band. The CD sounds very good and could have been a major label release for sure. The riffs are really strong and all real Metalheads will absolutely love this band, although sometimes it gets a bit too aggressive and then for the fans looking for strong melodies will not be able to find it here. Nevertheless, it will be a record which will be loved by the real Metalheads, because it is a big Metal riff CD with a sound of today.
