I wouldn't mind being involved, it's just a really poor time to be called up
You can get some good ibanez necks on Ebay- generally US sellers though. There is a lot of stuff like that for people who want to make their own guitars. Are you sure it's the neck and not the angle it's bolted on? If the neck needs some shims to set it right a new neck won't help.
Thanks, I'll be on the look out.
It's def the neck- it's pretty much a flat plank of wood that just awkward to play haha.
wondering if there has ever been a metal song that incorporates traditional African singing/chanting?
What would you call African Chanting? I'm not familiar with it at all.
An awesome and (somewhat) similar idea, Goodbye Sober Day by Mr. Bungle has a section of Kecak (Indonesian chanting) in it.
Egypt is in Africa, so Nile.
Nile has done it. I'm sure there's been others.
What are some good guitar/instrument shops around melb CBD?
Also any good general metal shops as well? Headed into town this weekend.
Also the general Allans/ Biily Hydes.
Are you looking for anything specific?
Just joined Last.fm noticed that Lord Ascendence album isn't tagged, so it doesn't get added to the chart count.
It says: Can't scrobble: artist or title missing from ID3 tag.
Is there anything I can change to fix that? I don't really know how it works.......
What does it mean when a toilet bowl is rated 'high density'? Does that mean it'll handle those thick dark beer poops?
Late answer, but you can use your music player software to tag the music, eg. Winamp. I use foobar2000, and it's just a matter of right clicking the track and going to properties. foobar2000 is handy as you can select the whole album of tracks and only have to fill in the artist & album once, and then you can do each song name individually. You can also tag CDs the same way when you have them in the CD drive, and it remembers the tags for that CD the next time you put it in.
Where did you see that?
Noticed it on one of the toilets at work. Probably just referring to the material the bowl was made of, but I thought it was amusing.
think it means that it's a tougher build and harder to break
Porcelain and ceramic bowls are usually classified by their density... obviously, the denser they are, the stronger and less absorbant they are
I ended up just removing Ascendence from my library and ripping it again, now it works fine.
Not sure what was wrong, everything else is fine. Thanks.
Because you seriously need to grog-bog proof a pub toilet!
Whats the difference between 1080i and 1080p???
1080p shows the full frame (like every pixel) every 1/25th of a second, like how film will show a new frame of the picture every 1/24th.
1080i is interlaced (p stands for progressive, i stands for interlaced). What that does is show every second line of pixels (so it shows only every second line of the 1080 lines) and then shows the next line of pixels (like the lines in between the ones it previously showed) in the next frame, but because it's so fast your eye registers it as just a continuous image.
Most TV stations transmit their HD content either as 720p or 1080i these days. It's more or less a way of getting HD content squished through a smaller hole (bandwidth) and you really don't notice the difference in the end. 1080p is better as source material, but so long as the 1080i is encoded properly or you're watching HDTV, you'll really not notice the difference at all.
How do you go about finding legal representation? In particular for an assault charge. The accused is not eligible for LegalAid....and not too sure if the first Google result is the way to go about this...
*This post is in no way a legally binding statement.
EDIT: In the days of the internet i had forgotten about the yellow pages /facepalm/...
