First off, I really dont need all the standard symph black bands, I definitely know them. I was listening to hecate enthroned - redimus yesterday and the death metal riffing got me wondering if any other bands pull this style off very well. I really have no starting point to ask for, just death metal medium to heavy on the symphonics.
Ex Deo Inactive Messiah - I'll give you a 'gay lyrics' warning Lux Occulta Dark Lunacy (though they only have a few good songs) You probably already know this album from Waltari:
Stormlord is pretty sick Septic Flesh is one of my favorites, oh Behemoth has a fair amount of symphonic elements in the last couple of albums
Agree with Stormlord being sick. Mare Nostrum is a beast of an album, one of the best of 2008 (think it was 2008).
I definitely agree with Stormlord and Fleshgod Apocalypse. Stormlord - The Curse Of Medusa Fleshgod Apocalypse - The Violation Here are some others. Scrambled Defuncts - Souls Despising The God Carach Angren - The Sighting Is A Portent Of Doom Chthonic - Takao
