O consumers, tell me what you long for the most. Music, Movies, Games, Concerts, Cars, Books, anything. Or maybe something else that's gonna happen in the future.

Highest on my list is probably seeing At the Gates playing, probably for the last time, live here in Gothenburg the 5th of September. So that's pretty soon.
    Opeth, also in Gothenburg, December.
The release of Gwynbleidd's Nostalgia album, don't know when but it should be pretty soon.

I guess I slightly anticipate school starting in a couple of weeks also. New town, new people.

New Iced Earth and Into Eternity albums on Sept. 2nd, plus they are touring together and I'm seeing them on Oct. 22nd. I know you don't like Into Eternity, but I love them.

Well at least you'll get to see one good band. Just kidding ;)
Into Eternity has qualities and I can understand people liking them it's just that I've.. er.. separated from them. I'll probably give their new album you mentioned a listen and maybe I'll change my mind again. I liked their first album. And the song Cyber Messiah from their second album.

I've heard a few songs from it, I don't think it will change your mind about them.

Riverside and Pain of Salvation live DVDs
    Greg Howe's Introspection transcription book
    new DT dvd
    LTE dvd (FINALLY)
FFXIII/versus XIII....or at least I would be if I had any intention to pick up a PS3 in the near future.

Those are the only things coming out soon-ish that come immediately to mind...I'm probably forgetting some.

You're an IQ fan!?:headbang: It kind of sucks that Martin won't be on this one.

I'm looking forward to Derek Sherinian's new album as it will have a new Planet X 'Trilogy' on it. Is it weird that I have actually had a dream where I'm listening to it? I better see a head doctor soon!

I tried to get into those keyboardist projects... Sherinian, Rudess, Moore, and the only one that actually held my interest was OSI.

IQ is pretty sweet, particularly Seventh House, Dark Matter, Subterranea

Based on clips I'm currently listening to, I'd like to add Mariusz Duda's "lunatic soul" project to my list. Also, the Tommy Emanuel concert in October I just found out about.

Duda has a solo project? What does it sound like? (Obvious Riverside comparison aside- unless defining between later "prog metal" or earlier "atmospheric" styles)

Not prog-metal...supposedly there aren't even electric guitars on the record. If any Riverside comparison could be made it would be to the older stuff.

Adding that to my list then. :) I prefer their debut and the Voices EP to the newer... more "standard" material.
