Video Killed The Radio Star
youd be amazed how many black metal musicians are skateboarders
I thought that was a snowboard. I should probably stop drinking now.
Lots of skaters in Europe?
dont know but in sweden ya, quite a few i guess
Don't know if the demographic is more humble and laid back overseas, but American skateboarders are typically douchebags.
americans in general are typically douchebags from what i gather so
Sadly, I can't state otherwise.
Death metal band Unfathomable Ruination are to perform in an airtight, soundproofed box outside the Gherkin in London this week.
Visible but inaudible to the public, the band's set will form an art installation by Portuguese artist João Onofre called 'Box Sized DIE', which is part of new exhibition Sculpture in the City.
"The box is soundproofed, determining and restricting the performances duration to the length of time in which the oxygen is expended," a blurb on the installation reads.
"Outside the cube, viewers observe its strange vibrations, only viewing the bands entrance and exit to the performance space
shit music too
I would set up a protest gig next to them and cover I Like It When You Die from start to finish.
In case you don't know what a "brony" is. It's a grown man who fanatically follows My Little Pony. There's conventions centered around this nonsense, with furries playing a prominent role. This isn't just some man child peter pan syndrome shit, this is another niche form of unwonted degeneracy. Most of these virgins tear a slit into a shine bright action doll and clop till their cotton entrails fall out. Click the Stern vid for details.
Brace yourselves for a New Wave of Brony Heavy Metal.
The book adaptation film for Michael Moynihan and Didrik Søderlind's Lords Of Chaos: The Bloody Rise Of The Satanic Metal Underground finally has a director and it is none other than former Bathory drummer and video/film director Jonas Åkerlund. The film will be produced by Ridley Scott's Scott Free London, RSA London, and VICE. Lords of Chaos focuses on the real events involving members of the 80's black metal scene in Scandinavia and will follow the story of 17-year-old Øystein "Euronymous" Aarseth, guitarist and co-founder of the Norwegian black metal band Mayhem during the upbringing of the genre.
The movie will follow the life of Euronymous who was murdered in 1993 by Burzum's Kristian "Varg" Vikernes. The film is expected to hit on the start of Norway's black metal scene, while also chronicling the wave of violence and church burnings that swept Norway in the early Nineties.
So far, Rory Culkin ("Scream 4," "Signs") and Caleb Landry Jones ("X-Men: First Class," "Byzantium") are confirmed for leading roles in the film, with further cast to be announced shortly. The film will shoot in the fall of 2015 on location in Norway.
Reached for comment via Rolling Stone, Mayhem bassist Necrobutcher - who co-founded the group with Euronymous - expressed his displeasure with the film. "This book Lords of Chaos is fucking crap and that some stupid Swedes are gonna make a movie out of it is not OK. I will do everything I can to stop this film.... Tell the Swedes and the Hollywood people to go fuck themselves."
The bassist also told Rolling Stone that a Norwegian company called Motion Blur has the rights to his story and that he has been spending time collaborating on a script for the film.
Oh man. That kid that plays joffrey in game of thrones should play varg. That kid just looks like an asshole. Perfect fit
What fresh hell is this? I don't follow any of the metal media but Facebook keeps showing me articles from Decibel, Metal Sucks, Metal Hammer, etc. as "sponsored posts" and half the time it's some cuckery like this. Apparently these anti-fascist dweebs are actually "canceling" bands and getting them taken off of tours and such? What in Sam Hill is going on?
hahaha. I follow Rob Darken (Graveland) on fb and he posted about that book. Incidentally, he was pissed that it supposedly did not mention I Shalt Become. Some others were pissed that it didnt mention Grand Belial's Key. I dont listen to either, but Im aware both are tied to the racistomg
this whole cancel culture is retarded. just because someone said a racism 20 years ago doesnt mean they should lose their job and be plastered all over goddamn huffington post
