The Zombie Inc and Only For The Weak solos are my personal favourites.

The Come Clarity solo is also amazing, though I'm sure most people won't agree with me there.

    Solos?
December Flower, but they didn't write that.
Solo on Come Clarity is great. I also really like the intro lead to In Flames.
But I usually don't pay attention to the solos, they're generally pretty average tbh.

I think Ordinary Story and Inspid 2000 (mispell? im half awake) have some great solos that have a good feel to them (may not be as technical.)

    And even Jester Script Transfigured.

But yeah, all of those even still suck cack compared to Zombie Inc's.

Suburban me is cool and was not made by In Flames... they really don't have any spectacular solos.

The solo in Satellites and Astronauts IMO is absolutely perfect.

Insipid 2000 was a new song, yes?
    It'd never been released before...
so why is it called Insipid 2000?

I like the solo in embody the invisible goes well with the song.

Because it's refferencing the year, not the time it was recorded or anything.
    Insipid means: Dull, boring.
so Dull 2000. Meaning the millenium or something will be shit. And it kinda is, music-wise.

Best solo is SATELLITES AND ASTRONAUTS imo

assmuedly they were suggesting everything post-2000 was going to be dull. tr00 in flames fans might say they were prophesising their own releases after Clayman :D

Insipid and dull are different things.

More or less about how shit sucks.
    Whatever.

—Synonyms 1, 2. flat, dull, uninteresting. 2. tasteless, bland.

Dictionary.com disagrees :D but yeah, who gives a shit, it's a good song.

... Anyway, my favorite In Flames solos are:

    Behind Space
    Artifacts of the Black Rain
    December Flower
    The Hive
    The New Word
    Man Made God
    Pinball Map

    Here’s the deal.

    Everlost Pt. II
    December Flower (second)
    The Hive
    Jester Script Transfigured (outro)
    Resin
    Pinball Map
    Sleepless Again
    Paralyzed

Some other songs have good solos, but I can’t remember how they go. And I can’t remember how they go, they aren’t that good. It is known.

Yes the solos in Sleepless Again and Paralyzed are definitely better than Satellites & Astronauts or Zombie Inc :D

Anyway, best solo in recent times is In My Room. Odd considering the disaster of an album it came off.

Good call on Satellites. I spaced on it when making that list.

Zombie’s solo is just okay, imo. The clean passage is way better (not sure if it’s considered separate from the solo or part of it, though).

I think the clean part has always been considered part of the solo, in the playthrough of the Zombie Inc solo they did of it a while back Bjorn included that part.
