This is going to be an easy fix, either leave it because in the next few years it will happen again.. its just fact V’s get damaged tips. Or beltbucket scratches. Or softly wetsand this with like korrel 1000/1200 or 1600, until u dont really see the scratches, and then polish the tip. In holland we use comandant, google for yourself some “fine-polish”.. maybe even toothpaste could do the job if your lucky

I'm glad someone on the forums snagged that Edwards! You will have to let us know what you think of the Dimarzio D-Sonic that it comes with. I always loved the tones that xKamen on Youtube got out of his Alexi models with the D-Sonic installed in them.
This is what I would do too, even Alexi had gold hardware in his sawtooth model at some point early on. I also like the same look on ESP SV's. But hey, do whatever you like. That's a nice axe!

Can we discuss the boosters again? Im being stood up by thomann again, and they moved the shipping date past the 1st of June, so I cancelled my order for the EMG ALX set/ABQ. EMG must be backordered by everyone suddenly buying all their stock, or a guitar company need everything they can make of these. I went on local Facebook guitar group, and guess what i found? EMG HZ-H4 and HZ-H4A. I'll give the H4 another try, and I'm excited to try the H4A as well. Guess how much i paid? 33€ shipped to me Now i just need me one of them boosts, as I'm tired with OD pedals. Having tried 3 of those exact boost copies, I honestly think the ABQ or the MM-04 is a better choice. Those JE-1000 copies are nice and quiet and definitely have all the gain, but I feel like they never quite get the cocked wah tone that we all crave.
I think the MM-04 is better than the JE-1000 clones that guy is selling. I had one in a RR24M with a J50BC and it was kinda meh. If you don't mind soldering I'd go for the MM04, if it causes problems I'd try to find an EMG ALX/ABQ set instead.
I'm fine with soldering, build and mod pedals and stuff. My main problem is that the ALX/ABQ are sold out everywhere. Stores just simply do not have them in stock. I can find the red HOB one on ebay, but it's a bit much money and it'll look stupid on my guitar. The MM-04 is a bit pricey, so thats why I'm asking about the JE-1000 copy, but if its the worst choice of the 3, I'd rather pour in some more cash and get the best.

OMG! I'd lick the fucking dust from the wah pedal, just to set tongue on where the foot of god has once trod. JK, almost. But those are sick. Like with the guitar posted, this is also way out of my league. I'll probably pick up a second hand Marshall JVM head or start building a rack again. I received my 30€ HZs today and since i didn't (and can't) get the ALX/ABQ set, i purchased an MM-04 from musamaailma.fi It was 120€ +30 for shipping.
