I was so pissed when I found out my first Converge show would be in a bigass venue, with Dethklok.

Anyway, I saw Torche and Harvey Milk live recently, and it was a-mazing.

Slayer and Megadeth are touring together soon, but I'm in two minds as whether to go or not. It would be good to have seen them at least once, but I'm guessing the set lists will be average at best, seeing as they both will have shitty new albums to promote. Surprisingly, the ticket price actually seems quite reasonable. Also, Kreator are touring here later in the year, and I don't know if they're worth seeing or not, either.

Anyone seen any of these three in the past year or so, or have recent set lists? Any other Australians going to see these tours?

From what I've heard, Slayer generally don't do much newer material.

Currently undecided on Slayer and Megadeth. I've seen Slayer before and they were alright, and Megadeth I'm happy to go without. If I can spare the money I'll probably go along anyway though.... if I've got nothing better to do (and I probably won't -_-).

As for Kreator, I heard mixed reviews of their last tour here. Some had nothing but absolute praise, others were quite butt hurt that they play somewhat slower than they used to. That said, I think I should see them at least once in my lifetime.

WTF WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT SHIT ON A THREE CONSECUTIVE WEEKDAYS.

Saint Vitus are now my least favorite band...
    NOTLOLOLOLOLL

My show schedule is something like...
    Melvins + Weedeater - Sept. 9th
    Dinosaur Jr. - Oct. 4th
    Eyehategod + Pig Destroyer - Oct. 24th

Maybe one or two others if I find something worth the cash and gas.
