You already know the drill Let's try and decipher this: Descending through the bleeding skyline _____angel rise (Angel Rise) _____ nations (?) may have fallen Men, come witness who we are In times of human execution Deceiving chaos and confusion It's time to wipe it clean (Cant make absolutely anything from the section with the vocal effects) ...... Sending out an SOS (?) Can you hear me In the hour of need We're reaching out before it all spirals out of control into the jaws of a demon One chance to live your choice to die In a perfect state of denial You destroy and divide This is the end We've watched you since the dawn of time And with every moment gone by A million suns fade and die This is the end Forever in the day we're watching Makes something ancient grow _________(?) Its time to show you what you are And for your wicked contribution There can be only one solution Now take your final bow (Cant make absolutely anything from the section with the vocal effects) ...... Sending out an SOS (?) Can you hear me In the hour of need We're reaching out before it all spirals out of control into the jaws of a demon One chance to live Your choice to die Cause with every_______ you breathe You still spread your disease This is the end We've watched you since the dawn of time And with every blink of my eye, a million lifetimes go by This is the end! One chance to live your choice to die In a perfect state of denial You destroy and divide This is the end We've watched you since the dawn of time And with every moment gone by A million suns fade and die This is the end This is the end!
I hear "United nations may have fallen" (or "United nations made of fallen men") in the third line. Also it might be "You destroy and defile" in the chorus. Other than that, the gaps in my draft are the same.
Descending through the bleeding skyline All draped in angel white Sending out an SOS Hello? Can you hear me? I think it's "In times of human absolution" instead of "human execution" up during the first verse there as well Taking a stab at the missing line in verse 2, to me it sounds like Brilliance impeded but today it's time to show you what you are I'm pretty sure the missing bit in the 2nd chorus is 'Cause with every cancer you breed You still spread your disease every time i hear that vocal effects bit I think I get it a little more but its really hard to decipher with all that in the way
After few more listens, the beginning of the 2nd verse sounds to me like Forever and a day we're watching Exalted ancient force
Great effort from you all! So far, the combined effort looks like this now: "The Everones" Descending through the bleeding skyline All draped in angel white United nations made of fallen men come witness who we are In times of human absolution Deceiving chaos and confusion It's time to wipe it clean (Robot voice.......) Sending out an SOS Hello? Can you hear me? In the hour of need We're reaching out before it all spirals out of control into the jaws of a demon One chance to live your choice to die In a perfect state of denial You destroy and defile This is the end We've watched you since the dawn of time And with every moment gone by A million suns fade and die This is the end Forever and a day we're watching Exalted ancient force Brilliance impeded but today it's time to show you what you are And for your wicked contribution There can be only one solution Now take your final bow (Robot voice.....) Sending out an SOS Hello? Can you hear me? In the hour of need We're reaching out before it all spirals out of control into the jaws of a demon One chance to live Your choice to die Cause with every cancer you breed You still spread your disease This is the end We've watched you since the dawn of time And with every blink of my eye, a million lifetimes go by This is the end! One chance to live your choice to die In a perfect state of denial You destroy and defile This is the end We've watched you since the dawn of time And with every moment gone by A million suns fade and die This is the end This is the end!
I don't want to sound ungrateful or anything, because that's nothing like that. I love Seventh Wonder music and admire it in any way possible. The new songs are awesome so far. But what exactly is a point of having one of the best vocalists around and writing one hell of good lyrics, if we can't even understand what Tommy sings? The mixing of all 3 new songs is just poor and people have been complaining on Facebook, on YouTube, elsewhere, from the very day Victorious had been released. What's more, the mix doesn't translate well between devices - I can hear vocals quite well on my PC with HD sound card and good speakers (quite well because it's still not enough to hear the lyrics comfortably), but I almost don't hear the vocals at all when I listen to the songs on my mobile with standard headphones, as if the songs were instrumentals with some vocals hiding deep beneath the surface of instruments. And that has been reported in comments on multiple occasions. I just hope that the songs released on YouTube come from the demo mixing and are not going to be released officially without being mixed properly again, because it would make a major harm to the album's reception. Releasing a new album after 8 years will bring you your moment in the sun, guys, and you really don't want it to be spoiled.
Got my Japanese import copy on Tuesday and it is absolutely no help for those "robot voice" lyrics. They're not included. I suppose it will be a puzzle for a while yet
I hear the robot saying in the first verse: "Sending out an SOS" I hear "distress" in the end of the second verse.
You're definitely on to something there, it certainly starts with "Sending out an SOS" to my ears as well! I think the "robot voice" message is the same in both verses as I hear the same things in both but this is what I'm guessing so far "Sending out an SOS as new realization ... humans had to possess.... Reaching out, we always thought ........." There definitely seems to be two distinct lines in there I'd say
So, a little late. Happy new years eve! I wanted to know: has anybody deciphered the "robot voice" lyrics yet?
