    2. cold, cold, cold... like alaskan winters LOL!!!
    3. same every day... cold, cold, cold!!
    4. depends on whether or not i can tolerate my hair frizzing...
    5. hmmm, we have some damn good thunder/lightning storms here with lots of rain and potential destruction by said lightning. however, 3 feet of snow in less than 24 hours is pretty damn good too...

    1. What's the temperature like outside right now?
19°F and oh look..it's snowing..again..or is it still?
    2. What's your ideal kind of weather?
I love it all for various reasons. Prefer too cold to too warm though..there's no limit to how many pieces of clothing you can put on, but you can only take so many off.
    3. Do you prefer living in a climate with lots of seasonal change, or do you prefer it to stay close to the same every day?
    I love seasons..that's why I bought a house here.
    4. How hard does it have to be raining for you to pull out an umbrella?
I usually just pull my hood over my head.
    5. What's the worst storm you've ever experienced? Is the weather where you live ever potentially dangerous?
I'd guess that was when I lived in TN & we had a tornado blow through our town..that pretty much sucked. Here, we get blizzards & some nasty lake effect snow, & have tornado warnings & such.

    1) Fucking COLD, but not as bad as it has been....9 degrees F, -4 windchill....
    2) I like it about 75-80F with about 50% Humidity (San Diego anyone??)
    3) I like the seasonal changes, but as I get older, I HATE winter more each year.....

    4) I don't use umbrellas (The real kind...hehehehe), didn't in Hurricane Ivan's remnants either....

    5) Too many to count, I have seen tornados, been pummeled with golfball sized hail. had 2 large Oak trees taken out by wind while evacuating our softball field, been chased off of numerous lakes by wall clouds of approaching storms, lots of ice, snow, you name it. Never been directly in a hurricane, but ran around partying in Atlanta during Ivan's remnants....

    1. What's the temperature like outside right now?
    Cold and windy

    2. What's your ideal kind of weather?
    Cold and not windy

    3. Do you prefer living in a climate with lots of seasonal change, or do you prefer it to stay close to the same every day?
I don't mind climate change as long as it's gradual. Earlier this year it was like 68 degrees one day, 40 the next, then 60 again... it was really annoying.

    4. How hard does it have to be raining for you to pull out an umbrella?
I'm with crapola on this one.

    5. What's the worst storm you've ever experienced? Is the weather where you live ever potentially dangerous?
The worst storm I've ever experienced was this torrential downpour one afternoon while I was walking home from school. I had an umbrella, but it was totally pointless. My clothes were drenched, rain got into my shoes and they were all squishy, the papers in my bookbag got wet; it was so gross.

The weather here isn't dangerous in the sense of natural disasters, but during the summer it can get very hot and humid, made even worse by all the car emissions and such here. I've passed out from the heat before because I have low blood pressure.

    1. 18 degrees Fahrenheit right now.

    2. Ice cold. This is perfect.

    3. Stay close every day.

    4. Umbrellas are for sissies.

    5. Nothing bad, i guess the only thing here in Michigan is the occasional tornado or two.

    1. 3.
    2. Temperatures that correspond with the season. I hate when it's winter and 65 outside.
    3. Seasonal change.
    4. All you can see is rain and nothing else.
    5. We had a horrible ice storm in November and several people died. I live right in tornado alley also, so yeah.

    1. -23 Celsius degrees (-9.4 in Fahrenheit)
    2. Hot summer day. A cliché.
    3. I prefer change in order to appreciate more the good days.
    4. 3600 m/s --- Seriously, I wear my raincoat when I smell a change in relative air humidity.
    5. Winter storms, over a meter of snow during night. It's not directly dangerous but it'll make people to crash cars and eventually block all the roads. If someone is in need of help, it may take time help to get there.

    1. What's the temperature like outside right now?
    - About 18 degrees Celsius at 8:41 in the evening... Very mild with a nice cool breeze... :)

    2. What's your ideal kind of weather?
    - I actually enjoy cold weather, but without wind...

    3. Do you prefer living in a climate with lots of seasonal change, or do you prefer it to stay close to the same every day?
    - Staying the same would make it easy, but lots of changes keep it interesting...

    4. How hard does it have to be raining for you to pull out an umbrella?
    - Don't have an umbrella...

    5. What's the worst storm you've ever experienced? Is the weather where you live ever potentially dangerous?
    - In Australia we have just about every kind of extreme weather, though down here in Adelaide the worst we get are huge thunderstorms... I think there's been a Tornado or two...

    1. 0 degrees Celsius + windchill factor, probably -5 approx. Sun is out today.
    2. 20-25 Celsius, sunny day with a bit of clouds.
    3. I'm fine here, -20 25 ish during winter and 20-30 during summer.
    4. Massive rainfall.
    5. Worst? I forget, all I remember is it was a hardcore snowstorm. Weather here is not dangerous at all.

    1. about 35C and about 70% humidity - its hot..dayum hot! ( hard to think a couple of days ago we were flooded  thats north queensland weather for you though)

    2. ideal is what its like here in our 'winter' about 25-28C with low humidity..

    3. i prefer it to stay around the same all the time.. that is a good thing about here, theres no extreme heat to extreme cold.. theres just extreme heat and moderately extreme heat

    4. i dont even own an umbrella :( - when it rains i get soaked wherever i go..wearing white dresses are fun then

    5. the worst was probably Typhoon Bart in Okinawa - it was the worst typhoon to hit the region in 50 years? and this is a place where we would get a typhoon almost every week during the season (at one point it literally was one every week for about 6 weeks). Here we get cyclones passing nearby but we've never had a direct hit since I've been here, the worst was cyclone Larry which hit last year just to the north and made the price of bananas reach $12 a kilo for a year (they've just gone back to $3 woo hoo).

EDIT: oops i missed ideal weather..

yepyep... in about 1989 i was at the murray bridge swimming pool with my daughter, mother, sis-in-law and nephew. casually glancing to the east, we could see what looked like a pair of jeans swirling around in the sky, closely followed by a bathtowel. next thing we realised was that we werent seeing things and there really was a pair of jeans in the sky. then the kid on the high diving board got thrown off into the pool, stuff was flying everywhere, those of us with little kids grabbed them from the pools, threw them to the ground and jumped on them, and rubbish bins went flying everywhere.
this little twister roared up the main street of murray bridge, right through the pool grounds and up the road and then fizzled out, but leaving a trail of minor destruction and lost pool rubbish bins everywhere...

That particular tornado was the direct result of me being born into this world... The extreme metalness of my birth caused the formation of those winds which spread quickly from the maternity ward of Burnside hospital to reak havoc on the surrounding areas... :heh:

^^ ahhh, that explains it... except from murray bridge, burnside is northwest-ish, and the little tornado went from east to west... maybe it was hunting you down....

    1. What's the temperature like outside right now?

Rainy. Clouds trapped the heat overnight; so, it's a wee warmer than it has been.

    2. What's your ideal kind of weather?

About 68°F (20°C, 293.15K). If I'm on the pitch, it's best to be overcast and even rainy. But, the lower temps do me best. (Of course, I live in an f'in desert!)

    3. Do you prefer living in a climate with lots of seasonal change, or do you prefer it to stay close to the same every day?

We pretty much have all four seasons here, which is great in my book. I'd get sick of the same temperature all year.

    4. How hard does it have to be raining for you to pull out an umbrella?

"Rain drops keep falling on my head..." I don't own an umbrella. Living in a desert climate breeds an appreciation for the drops, occassionally leading to bouts of dancing revelry.

    5. What's the worst storm you've ever experienced? Is the weather where you live ever potentially dangerous?

I've been through some doozies, but I can't say I recall anything life-threatening. During one storm, it was really coming down hard here at work and I went out back to see what it looked like since the sump pump never works and our lay-down yard floods pretty fast. I was standing under the awning, about 30 yards from out 150' self-support tower when it was hit by lightning. Damn, that was loud as f***!

I drove from Abilene to Lubbock, TX after my friends' wedding, and as we passed through Sweetwater, we saw green-out effects and whirling clouds. Ever seen a green sky with green clouds? It's creepy. We hit the front about five miles down the road, made it through the sheets of rain and hail, and finally got back to Lubbock. When I was cozy in my apartment, I turned on the news. About 15 minutes after we went through Sweetwater, it was whacked with a huge tornado. That was kinda creepy.

There was another storm in Lubbock when my buddy and I were at a movie at an old converted theater. One of the side doors blew wide open, and we could see the rain blowing sideways outside. Nobody else jumped up to shut the door; so, I did. I reached outside to grab the handle and had to grab onto the door frame because the wind immediately sucked me out the door. I was drenched, but I persevered and got the door shut to a small ovation.

And, I got drenched one morning walking to school. There was a pesky li'l cloud that drifted past my head (no joke, it was at ground level and it wasn't foggy at all) as I walked through a shortcut clearing, and I turned around to look behind me and saw a wall of rain coming at me. I was about a ten-minute walk from the front doors of school, but it caught me anyway. I was totally soaked, like Beelz's story above, and the school day hadn't even started yet. I remember how annoying it was to squish around in my desk for First Period.
