How do you guys communicated on LIVE? I'm gonna assume headsets? And are there many improvements on Halo? Or is it similar to the jump from 1 to 2? The fact you could destroy a tank in a few shots, and kill a person from half the map away with the shotgun on 1 was the most annoying thing ever. I am the dominator among my mates, but whenever one of them got a shotgun they'd just use it the whole map. 2 was much better because of the improvements there, the double wielding and the flying crafts. It's funny that, i never owned an xbox or 64, but i always dominated multi player.

No worries mate, I was wondering where you went.

There is quite alot of improvements from the last game, first of all all the guns have actual attributes, so when using a shotgun it will only cause maximum damage if you're right next to the person. Double wielding is limited to some guns as it sort of cheating in way now. :p

The maps are alittle more indepth then your regular open landscape, alot have trenches, tunnels and convenient little places to hide if you want to snipe or surprise someone who's trying to get into you're territory. Vehicles still remain, with the added bonus of putting in more with the forge feature. Forge lets you put in and take out items as you please, its sort of like a map editor, but you can't actually create levels from scratch, only edit them in a small way.

Graphics aren't that extravagant, but they do look quite fetching...you could say its Halo 2.5 in a way, just little touch ups here and there. I wouldn't consider it a world class multiplayer or single player game, but its still quite enjoyable with mates.

    And yes, we use headsets.

I read about this the other day, I still reckon the trilogy will do ok since Bioware would have made a template for EA to work off.

    He is.

Just four short days till Orange Box. It's already got ridiculously good reviews (and so it should given HL2 is still considered one of the best games in existance). If reviews keep staying this positive, it will hit the top 5 on Gamrankings. As it stands, it's no.2, but still missing enough reviews to be counted.

One of my mates got his copy early, dont know how but I'm eager to play this...more so to continue the story of HL2 since I never played Episode I and II on PC.

5 Games for $89, not bad.

Holy shit I just found the discs for NFS: High Stakes and I forgot how awesome this game is! Better than any games under the NFS title in a long time.

If you have a 360, then definently get Test Drive Unlimited. NFS fans will love it.
