I only saw it a couple of weeks ago, I thought he must have been totally ruining his throat trying to sound harsh and tuff all the time.

On Showtime? One Deuce Bigollo was enough. Meh. Even that was too many.

I saw the new Halloween. I honestly didn't care much for Rob Zombie's last two films but this was a really good flick!

Tyler Mane as Michael Myers was awesome! It was a great flick and I'm not hot on new remakes of old movies but I think Rob Zombie did the original some justice. Not as good as the original but it was pretty kick ass!

Most remakes nowadays dont do much justice to anyone. It's like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies, they were just terrible and sucked the biggest baboon nuts. I still might check this one out since Helloween was one of first horror movies I saw and still love the saga to this day...until it got out of hand and Micheal Myers died to many times and the story just got stupid. :p

I love John Carpenter movies, very b-grade and almost uncut in a way. But still enjoyable movies none the less. Snake Plissken rules.:headbang: Supposedly there is a remake of Escape from New York coming out, I'm not holding my breath but it will still be good to check out.

But yeah, it should be good.

I think it helps that Rob Zombie is a massive fan of the classic horror films, and always has been. It's more a love of the character and original movie that made him decide to do Halloween and not a cash-grab due to lack of idea, like most Hollywood remakes.

It doesn't look like it's coming to cinemas here (I wasn't really expecting it to) so I suppose i'll either have to wait til DVD or download a cam. It's a shame, I love seeing horror films at the cinema.

Thats the thing with horror movies down here, we dont get to see them that much at the cinemas due to lack of interest.

Rob Zombie did an amazing job with House of 1000 Corpses, and the other one which came out. Sorry I forgot the name of it, but I reckon he'll do an ok job with Helloween.

His second film was The Devil's Rejects. I thought it was a brilliant movie, the ending is one of my all time favourite scenes.

The ending is awesome. Actually The Devil's Rejects is so much better than House of 1000 Corpses on a lot of levels, but they are two of the best horror films so far this decade.

I agree, definately two of the best in a while. I think The Devil's Rejects was a much more serious(ish) film than House of 1000 Corpses. They are both so entertaining though.

ohh, I looked at getting The Hitcher the other night but ended up getting something else. Will probably borrow it next weekend.

The original Hitcher was one of the most sinister murder spree movies ever. This remake better not disappoint!

Yay! It was good. At first I thought it was going to be shit because instead of one guy driving across America it was a guy and his girlfriend, but it turned out OK. Sean Bean was John Ryder. Great choice! The scene at the motel had a bit of a twist that you could see coming from before the movie started, but the rest of the scene was shot-for-shot from the original, except the splatter which wasn't there before. :) The Hitchcock reference was sort of obvious though.

 I loved Lucasarts Point and Click adventures. I can't believe they stopped making them. At least Sam and Max got a second chance.

Superbad was alot better than I was expecting. I liked it, although some parts were a little further drawn out than they could have been. I think it ended on a good note though. Possibly one that will have a second movie that continues on, who knows.

Also, in that movie Emma Stone (Jules) is pretty fuckin hot.
