Sin/Pecado is ace, but I "The butterfly effect" is great too.... i think Moonspell is the best "dark/gothic metal" band for the lyrics... No cheesy or whining stuffs there... :D

Hahaha... No seriously, there are bad and good things in their lyrics... But i admit that they do some cheesy stuffs on stage, like wearing butterfly wings for instance... :D

well if its come to the point that moonspell writes the best lyrcs in the "dark/gothic metal scene", then all i can say is GET ME OUT OF HERE NOW! i suggest you get hammered and listen to connies lyrics on the silent enigma. proper doom. none of your psuedo intellectual moodiness.o_O mind you i think it probably went right over most of your heads. that would be why yous like other bands. what you can relate to like. ever heard stranger than fiction?

I was a bit sarcastic here Danny... Moonspell lyrics are in fact written in an intellectual mood, but it's sometimes kind of cheesy... My goal was to piss Pieter off... :D

And, for not being english native speaker, I don't understand most of their lyrics... :ill:

    bollox! Moonspell are best! :(

"Draw me the fine line between religion and crime
You are one more son of a God you can never be wrong
    but aren't we all?

    As we sit and wait
for the serpent to bite our very own tale
    (As I sit and wait
for the serpent to bite my very own tale)"

    "Would you pay by surprise?
    Feasting on the dead's cultures?
And Christ what should I say more?
    But honestly, I love that

    yes, everyone has a price
why is everyone so suprised ?
and there is always a claw
at the end of each hand
they strecht down to help you
(they) strecht down to hurt you"
