you should be in fuckin moonspell. just once, only once: listen to Sin/Pecado.
Sin/Pecado is ace, but I "The butterfly effect" is great too.... i think Moonspell is the best "dark/gothic metal" band for the lyrics... No cheesy or whining stuffs there...
urrr i have to say their lyrics are not that good.... theyre funny sometimes, but yeah theyre kinda cheese in general...
Mmmmmh, I don't think so, it's kinda more spiritual than bands like To/die/for or stuffs, even Sentenced is cheesier...
Hahaha... No seriously, there are bad and good things in their lyrics... But i admit that they do some cheesy stuffs on stage, like wearing butterfly wings for instance...
i know this album and i used to like it but listening back to it now, its not quite okay. a couple of good songs now and then but nothing like 'seventh son' :Smug:
well if its come to the point that moonspell writes the best lyrcs in the "dark/gothic metal scene", then all i can say is GET ME OUT OF HERE NOW! i suggest you get hammered and listen to connies lyrics on the silent enigma. proper doom. none of your psuedo intellectual moodiness. mind you i think it probably went right over most of your heads. that would be why yous like other bands. what you can relate to like. ever heard stranger than fiction?
and i think we wont be calling the album the natural disaster the lads want something different.
I was a bit sarcastic here Danny... Moonspell lyrics are in fact written in an intellectual mood, but it's sometimes kind of cheesy... My goal was to piss Pieter off...
And, for not being english native speaker, I don't understand most of their lyrics...
Different? I found "the natural disaster" quite good...
bollox! Moonspell are best!
"Draw me the fine line between religion and crime
You are one more son of a God you can never be wrong
but aren't we all?
As we sit and wait
for the serpent to bite our very own tale
(As I sit and wait
for the serpent to bite my very own tale)"
"Would you pay by surprise?
Feasting on the dead's cultures?
And Christ what should I say more?
But honestly, I love that
yes, everyone has a price
why is everyone so suprised ?
and there is always a claw
at the end of each hand
they strecht down to help you
(they) strecht down to hurt you"
damn, but havent you written all/most of the album?
äh, Dunc are sth like in a researching someones lyrics fanatism/mood
oh, and Danny, please tell the guys not to start a "we must find another title" game, for i think that always leads to confusion or worse. Or did Vinny found one in a lib
its not, cause you and lots of other people know that i love sin, so why pissing me off with saying that the lyrics are good?!
Because I know you a bit, and i know you would find those lyrics kind of cheesy...
i dont understand this world. never did actually but when im thinking i know a bit about it, i always seems to be proven wrong
theyre stretchin down to hurt you! heh heh!
pieter get on icq if you ever see this message.
