Here is a short clip of a band I´m mixing at the moment.
I like their music a lot. Very talented guys from Germany.

    What do you think?

It's very good man, but the guitars are a bit too loud to my ears. Anyway, if you like them, it's ok!

That´s what I thought too when I first heard the riff....:headbang:
I don´t have any feedback from the band yet so I don´t know if they like the mix. But it´s good to hear you are enjoying it.

The mix sounds good to me, tone of the snare is good, but could sound abit bigger for this kind of song in my opinion.
I'd try with abit more reverb and maybe compress it just a tad more, to make it sound more hard hitting.

But before anything, the band should first put some effort in composing their own riffs instead of ripping others off :)

Bit of a ripoff. But nice mix, maybe the snare could sound bigger but I like how it is.

It is a bit of a ripski, but we shouldn't forget that KSE "borrowed" some riffs thermselves.

By the way they got other songs which are not so close to KSE like this one.

Haha, this is SO "Rose Of Sharyn", almost every part...prechorus, chorus, and even the clean part! And that stop-start riffing before that is completely "When Darkness Falls". The only part that doesn't sound immediately KsE is the first piece.

They are great, but the song sounds too similar to Rose Of Sharyn (0:19 to the end)
