that is totally hilarious
Do you realize what you seem to be saying, with your phrasing?
All pizza styles have potential for greatness.
Obviously you have never eaten such a thing, elsewise you wouldn't compare it to thin crust.
Indeed... except New York style. It can be decent, but never great.
Well, how many of you can say you have sampled even half of the styles on this list?
Went to SandwichU and got a Fat Elvis. Gyro meat, two giant cheese sticks, French fries. And tzatziki (sp??) It was good but I feel sick now.
NY pizza is awesome, you guys are spouting blasphemy. I love the thin crust... Yum!
There's this awesome spot in Brooklyn called 620 Caton and they have the best grandma slices. Great sauce and the crust is just the right ratio to thin and fluffy.
Really wanna try Chicago style, it's always on the Food Network and it looks so damn good.
Which Chicago style? Chicago deep dish or Chicago thin crust?
Did it before but doing tongue again tomorrow for a new crowd of soon-to-be-converts. Mexican meal with tongue tacos, plantain and refried bean quesadillas, some standard chicken enchiladas, rice, pickled red onion, queso fundido, habanero salsa, and almond + Grand Mariner flans for dessert.
Tongue tastes good, but knowing what I'm eating makes me want to uke:
Are you talking about the overcooked kind with a crunchy medium-thin crust? Because then I would agree. It CANNOT be overdone or crunchy. Fuck that shit. I like super floppy.
I like California Pizza Kitchen's Peking duck pizza too. Do not agree re: deep dish pizza. I don't even really like the bread so less is more.
Actually I like flammkuchen/tarte flambée a lot too. If that counts as pizza.
i like this pizza
Flammkuchen is totally pizza.
Chicken cooked with bell pepper and onion:
Covered in broth:
The final product - Paella:
Deep dish! That shit looks sooo damn good. We have thin crusts here, so not too interested in it. I loveee the dough.
Btw, your paella puts my Panamanian aunt's paella to shame.
There's such thing as Chicago thin crust??
And Serjeant, your posts are the best!
pizza dough is supposed to be "dough-y"
the whole concept of "thin-crust" still seems creepy to me
That looks amazing, you have some good food in this thread that I need to try out one of these days.
Well, I do try.
i've been eating nothing but homeless shelter/fodbank food/soup kitchen food for several months
i miss fast food
