Heads up on the new Imperium Dekadenz: the second half is far superior to the first.

I heard that there is a new Vintersorg album on the way. I don't have any information on it, I just know it is due out this year.

Me too, got about 5 tracks in and I'll save the rest for when I've purchased it.

New Dark Tranquillity is a disappointment, at least with regards to Fiction.

Paradox, the old school German thrashers released Riot Squad this year via AFM. This release has some of the fastest thrash riffing I've heard in recent times and is right up there with the new Heathen & Overkill in my book.

So V5, is Agrypnie's new one mostly their faster stuff or slow stuff? I'm not big on their slow songs, but their fast songs are so ADD, and I like them a lot.

"Norwegian black metallers 1349 will release their new album, "Demonoir", on April 26 in Europe via Indie Recordings and one day later in North America through Prosthetic Records.

"According to a press release, "Demonoir" is "without a shadow of a doubt 1349's darkest, most sinister and brutal work to date, and in this case it comes to mean that the band has gone from the utterly extreme to the genre-expanding and mindboggling. Black metal cannot, and will never be the same."

Holly fuck that was quick, I know they knew that they fucked up last time so this will be fucking brutal. Looking forward to hear this one.

I didn't bother checking it out, I was just generalizing about their tendency to suck.

That Agrypnie album is pretty damn tight. I'm liking it a lot. I heard the title track to the Barren Earth EP. DAMN good stuff. Looking forward to hearing the rest of it.
