    man, ive been watching a lot of vh1 this month, which is their metal month. heavy. the history of metal or something like that is pretty cool. and super group really is a train wreck i cant keep my eyes off of.

    Wolfmother is kind of hard to describe. To me, they are along the lines of an early 70's retro kind of sound, more straight ahead rock, definitely nothing metal about them. They kind of have a little bit of psychedelic sound to them as well. They have that organ sound like Deep Purple had, and they can do some extended jazzy kind of jams like Deep Purple did back in the day, but not quite as heavy if that makes any sense. They are pretty good, check em out if you get the chance.
