    fyi: about the 666 thing. its from the bible. its actually exactly as quoted above by Iron Maiden :lol:

    7 was believed to be the number of God, 7 days to make the universe, 7 this, 7 that etc.

    therefore, since God makes humanity in his own image, but not as himself (gods), we are imperfect with human faults. so close, but not quite. aka: 6. if you read the bible you will find common numbers of things pertaining to humanity as 6, things pertaining to God often involve the numbers 3 or 7.

    you're on the right track with looking at Hebrew. the Hebrews used repetition as a signification for degree of magnitude. like "more" and "most". the triple repetition 7 7 7 stresses the perfection of God, and 6 6 6 stresses the "not god" imperfection of humanity. it has nothing to do with Satan. it is about humanity.
