    The fact that Kollex organised this suggests to me that the results probably aren't accurate anyway.

    I think that it's a pretty good list, but if I were to change that list I'd probably put Agalloch - The Mantle in the #1 spot, I'd lower Anthems, (since I like ITNE is better) Reign In Blood, Opeth and Dimmu Borgir (I don't think they should have that many albums in there anyway), put in Decapitated - Winds of Creation and Cannibal Corpse - Gallery Of Suicide, since I feel those albums are better than Nihility and Bloodthirst. And no Neuraxis is just plain WRONG!

    forgot the antichrist was recorded by Destruction. not that having 4 or 5 points makes more than none. being there are over 500 albums voted for, you can't blame me for forgetting one can you ?

    I doubt you would do better. you would just rig it farcially to try and push your own agenda across (by probably putting some crappy KVLT act like Hate Forest at number one)

    I'm sure I've told you countless times on Messenger that I don't like Hate Forest. Regardless, I was just making a general comment, it wasn't really relevant to that single error.

    Indeed. :headbang:

    I love some of the songs in there like "Killing On Adrenaline", "Absolute Defiance", and "Intentional Manslaughter". For Dying Fetus I voted their Destroy The Oppositon album.

    Disagreements are inevitable. But that said, a fine list.

    Destroy the Opposition is such a wonderful riff fest....was listening to it today and wondered why it'd been so long since it had had a spin...

    Too much black metal crap. 9) Darkthrone-Transilvanian Hunger > 90) Black Sabbath-Paranoid ;28) Dimmu Borgir-Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia > 82) Judas Priest-Painkiller; 13) Mayhem-De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas > 97) Testament-the new order;
    30) Carcass-Heartwork > 75) Iron Maiden-Number of the beast;

    Haha

    Wow, best random thread I've ever found in a forum search. I haven't been here for very long, so could some one explain to me how this was conducted, and perhaps point me to some other relevant threads? I'm damn curious about this. If there have been any more recent surveys, I'd like to see them. If not... I say do another one!

    Good to see Black Metal being a big part of it, but what's with all the Opeth gayness
