Thanks Mr Samsara, that clarifies things somewhat... But I think the rip, regardless of whether it was "good" or "bad" in the great scheme of things, was a positive thing for this forum. For once we have something to do besides start threads that are vaguely related (at best) to Opeth and turn them into all-out flame wars, which are often fun but never very productive, and certainly don't further band-related discussion. I haven't been here long at all but in the last few days there seems to have arisen a sense of community that wasn't, from what I can see, present before.
You have to remember that Blabbermouth only happens to be hosted on RR's site. They really have nothing to do with each other.

i don't know if anyone stated it, but i did see the post about the blabbermouth place, and it was the station and and roadrunners fault, i listened to it, and i still loved the song, i perosnally don't see a problem with it, because i'll probably get it sometime anyway. but by all means, i'm not the smartest per-son in the world. and yes that was intended.
