Calling all doom dogs and doom wenches!!! (Well, I suppose when we ever have a female post on this forum....has that ever happened?) The SKULL will be performing two shows in February: FRIDAY FEB 1st @ BADA BREW SATURDAY FEB 2nd @ PENNY ROAD PUB No one noteworthy is playing either of those shows. I most likely will be at the Bada Brew show. DOOM ON!
Possible, though I am sure the set will be exactly the same. Also, Pat's house is halfway to Bada Brew which means we can get a short practice in before the gig as well, as long as Mrs Wizardry is ok with it..
I believe so. As much as people crack on it...I liked it. Parking right out front. There is a GREAT pizza place next door. I wont be at the show because I find the Skull incredibly boring. But to all who go..have fun.
I will be there with bell (bottoms) on!!!! Yes, Bada Brew is in Crest Hill. It is a cool place, and historic for our little crowd here, as it was the home to the first annual Ragnarokkr!!!
It's gonna be a great time. Though small, Bada Brew is a great place. Helstar at Ragnarokkr was seriously one of the most intense live up close and personal performances ever. I think there are like 5 openers actually. LOL. One thing I am worried about is that many times I have seen Trouble as well as the one time I saw the Skull, they don't go on at their scheduled time. I don't wanna get there too early, because I seriously have no desire to see any of the openers. I don't think any are even metal, just south suburban hard rock bands. I wish they would have built a stronger lineup for these shows.
Ha ha! Yeah, my public appearances are so rare that when they do happen, it's something special. That keeps the fans hungry for more.
I will be appearing live at Reggie's on Feb. 17th. It's my first show in over six months, so don't miss it! Also, Uli Roth will be there, so that's cool too.
