yeah man, i haven’t heard it yet. it’s not a proper album though, just a collection of b-sides, but i’ll be checking it out.

Oh it's a comp? I thought it was a bunch of rarities re-recorded or something.

"collection of b-sides" wasn't really accurate actually:

"I've got a new album of home recordings out today on @bandcamp called 'Republic of Geordieland' - a collection of instrumentals and vocal pieces recorded during lockdown, and a couple of bits and pieces that never found a home. I hope you enjoy it!"

Really fucking spectacular Arizona-based shoegaze that fell through the cracks in the 90's.

I just came to peruse this thread and, can you believe it, happened to have The Sensual World playing - specifically Never Be Mine.

Deeper Understanding is my favourite too.

Not sure what to think about this. There are some interesting "new" parts, but I can't stand the (heavily) autotuned vocals in the first half of this version. And is it just me or does this re-recorded version generally have a somewhat muffled sound? I definitely prefer the clearer sound of the original version.

New Ulver out today. If you liked Assassination there's no reason this one should't do it for you as well.

Old's last, full on electronic album is great. Is this still the worst selling Earache album?
