I rented Stalker on Amazon.
I'll have to do that myself I guess.
5 favourite Terry Gilliam-directed films:
3. The Adventures of Baron Munchausen
4. Monty Python and the Holy Grail
5. 12 Monkeys
Tideland is the one I'm more inclined to re-watch, but it can't beat the spectacle of Brazil's dystopian bureaucracy.
1. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
2. Monty Python and the Holy Grail
3. 12 Monkeys
4. The Fisher King
Speaking of, I need to re-watch The Zero Theorem.
Was directed solely by Terry Jones, otherwise it might've topped my list.
Whoops lol edited.

Top 5 songs from 2019:
The new Feg is inconsistent for me, but that's one of the three songs that stand out as good/unusual/weird for me (along with The Cynic and Discourse on Equality).
That's ultimately why it started sliding out of my top 10. The peaks are really awesome but yeah...
top 5 tracks off Depeche Mode's Music for the Masses
1. Behind the Wheel
2. Never Let Me Down Again
4. To Have and to Hold
Sabbath (This wasn't as difficult as I initially thought):
2. Behind the Wall of Sleep
3. Hand of Doom
5. Electric Funeral
2. She Rides
3. Tired of Being Alive
4. Soul on Fire
5. How the Gods Kill
Top 5 favourite movie trilogies:
1. Sergio Leone's The Man with No Name trilogy
A Fistful of Dollars
For a Few Dollars More
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
2. Lars von Trier's Depression trilogy
3. Francis Ford Coppola's Godfather trilogy
The Godfather: Part II
The Godfather: Part III
4. Takeshi Kitano's Outrage trilogy
5. Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy
The Fellowship of the Ring
The Two Towers
The Return of the King
Ah, interesting idea. If we're counting loose trilogies then...
1. The LA Trilogy (Lynch)
2. The Gates of Hell Trilogy (Fulci)
City of the Living Dead
The House By The Cemetery
3. The Three Mothers Trilogy (Argento)
Mother of Tears
4. The Shape of the Coming Nightmare (Nikolaidis)
Euridice BA 2037
The Zero Years
5. The Years of Cholera (also Nikolaidis)
The Wretches are Still Singing
Loser Takes All
This might a tad uh, eccentric. Love some of that 90s stuff etc. Architecture of Aggression really grew on me when I decided it sounded like a great song to cover.
5 favourite Megadeth songs:
Architecture of Aggression
Train of Consequences
Tornado of Souls
5 favourite Metallica songs, heh:
Harvester of Sorrow
Where the Wild Things Are
...And Justice for All
Eye of the Beholder
I see you too really enjoy Justice. A man of culture.
top 5 Kill 'Em All tracks
1. The Four Horsemen
3. Hit the Lights
5. Phantom Lord
i’d have no remorse and metal militia in there myself, we might have the same top 2 though.
Motorbreath > Jump in the Fire > Hit the Lights > The Four Horsemen > Whiplash
Probably. Funny how Jamez and Dave wrote two of their very best and most instantly-memorable riffs before Metallica even existed. If the studio version of Phantom Lord didn't the extraneous bullshit added it'd be in there, it's kind of a Priest ripoff even still but one of the best in its class. Whole album is really enjoyable though, overlength the only problem, No Remorse and Seek & Destroy should both be 2 minutes shorter as well.
Interesting. I will second The Godfather trilogy. I'm surprised you didnt have the first three Alien movies in there as that was essentially a self-contained trilogy too. Even though I don't like Alien 3, the other two carry the day.
Linklater's Before Sunrise/Sunset/Midnight would make my list.
Original Star Wars trilogy (duh).
Last would be Park Chan-Wook's Revenge trilogy: Sympathy for Lady Vengeance, Sympathy for Mr Vengeance and Oldboy.
Leone and Argento would be HMs.
