I guess I really meant self-indulgent. Either that or it was totally over my head. It really lost me when they got to the high school, hinting at some grand symbolic revelation which frankly I couldnt see at all.

Question; have you only watched it once?

Yeah. I figure it requires another watch but not sure I have the motivation for that slog though.

Definitely does. You can't catch it all the first time around, there are way too many clues, subtle edits and tricks throughout.

I'm not sure, but the small amount of info available says the plot is "an intimate, decades-spanning portrait of one of the most successful entrepreneurs of all time."

Shit, I couldn't tell you the individual episodes but I liked both those. Although I did think Burn Notice got a bit boring in the end, whereas the Psych movies were quite good after the series ended.

I am due to start a rewatch of burn notice. The last season was a lot darker but I am satisfied with how they ended the show.

I don't have the time or inclination to watch things twice but I do remember thinking that Burn Notice held me interested early but I only watched the last series because I'd watched the rest.

    Mine, probably:

    1. Degüello
    2. Eliminator
    3. Tres Hombres
    4. Afterburner
    5. Recycler

I also had their 1st album, Rio Grande Mud and Tejas in my top 10s in the non-metal polls. They don't have a bad album really.

I need to listen to more ZZ Top, pretty much only listened to Eliminator, Greatest Hits and Tres Hombres as a kid, but liked all three. Which album would be the next logical step?
