Looks like Rich and Johanne have started using ear monitors - or rather a click so to make the use of loops & co. easier.
Here you can find some of the pictures I took last Sunday at De Kade. They're about as bad as the ones I took at Summer's End Hope you can have a laugh at them. http://www.flickr.com/photos/11408313@N07/sets/72157617747146113/show/
looks like you had a bot more light form you angle. still a shame de kade is always so dark. i really love the Boerderij...
Cheers And back to the shows - there's at least a couple of people that said they took pics and we haven't seen any yet - get posting!!!
It isn't. Pete told me he 'thought they had a November tour coming up', so I'm pretty sure more tourdates will pop up soon enough Awesome pics btw, Astrid and Ayreonaut See you at the next gig, I'm sure
BDTM if you go to the Peel website http://www.peelmuzik.com/ on the "Find us" tab, they have a link to Streetmap.co.uk which shows where The Peel is and it has the Bus Stations marked. See you there
SETLIST SLIPSTREAM PRESSURE DAYS OF DEARTH THE RAVAGES OF TIME HOLLOW EXPOSED LONG WAY HOME PART OF THE CHAOS PILOT IN THE SKY OF DREAMS ONE DEGREE DOWN MISSION PROFILE FALLING AWAY THIS IS YOUR LIFE Oceanbound, Elusive and Light & Space all pulled from the main setlist. Great performance in front of a VERY sparse crowd (barely into 3 figures, I'd say).
It was a fantastic performance - I didn't realise the place wasn't very full due to being stood right up the front getting very carried away! I was especially pleased to hear "Days of Dearth" and "Exposed". Most of my attempts at photography came out pretty bad due to the lighting (blah...blah...) but I might share a couple with you. I also finally got to see Kyrbgrinder at the third attempt, thankfully worth the wait! I think Johanne James will have to go on the sickeningly talented list. Oh, and any anglo-saxons going to tonight's concert, watch out 'cos apparently he eats white people on Saturdays. Thanks for another great evening, guys. And Rich - if you read this - remember Manchester!!
I made it only 60 there-seems like the CRS is dying. Threshold were superb, I always prefered Damien as their vocalist.
I was at The Peel gig last night and took a few hundred photos, some of which can be found on my Flickr account here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/soulcatcherlondon/sets/72157617835039555/show/ I got a shot of the set list so I'll post that next. Enjoy.
Hi Rob, fantastic pics. I'm in one of them I was standing next to you I think. Oh yeah...if that was Pete's set list; I now own it
Hey Terri, Yes that was Pete's set list. I've just uploaded another 32 shots to that set on Flickr now. Some of them turned out quite nice I think. I've got a few Kyngrinder I'll add to another album a bit later.
