mmmmm. Mofuggin' okra. Haven't had that in ages. Can you even find that in California?
i have like 3 indian restaurants in 1-2 min walking distance from work, it's awesome <3
I had lunch at Gordon Biersch up in the city. They make a damn fine burger there.
but on that note I had chicken tenders for lunch, oh the amazing processed goodness. Though I had an AMAZING steak for dinner, musta been almost a pound and a half. (thats what she said)
there's nothing ew about indian food
There is when it tastes like potpourri! That being said, Derick and I are eating here tonight http://www.samosahutandgrill.com/
It's my friend's restaurant, woot.
Could we have this thread stickied? I had the hardest time finding it (I thought it was simply called "Food Thread").
Any wine lovers out there? I've recently discovered my love for red wine, but don't have the slightest idea of which Merlots are good to buy. I like red wines that are thin, not so sweet, and kind of dry. Is this a description of cheap wine? hah What do you folks recommend? I know, shame on me... being a white california limp-wristed democrat and not knowing a good wine from a boxed wine if you blindfolded me.
i was wondering when this thread would make its glorious return.
oddly, there's no mention of any lunches
I was treated to a very special lunch at the Ponderosa buffet. Where else can you get steak tips, pizza, tacos, and boiled cabbage at once? It'll take days to undo this damage.
I actually miss the dinner pictures thread but haven't been taking pics anyways
leftovers from yesterday's lunch at ruby tuesdays - trout almondine... after being refrigerated and microwaved, it was still as bland and dry at it was when i got it yesterday. but i did have a leftover garlic chedder buscuit, which totally made it worth it.
then i got home and had half a cheese steak sub (steakums ftw, don't judge me) n some dirt pudding aka vanilla pudding w/crushed oreos. greatly improved by adding chocolate ice cream
sushi with my beloved lindsay. california rolls, spicy tuna rolls, crispy spicy scallop rolls <3
then an iced chocolate-covered strawberry latte at the coffee place across the street.
when we were walking back to our cars, some ghetto douche drove by us and yelled "you lookin' beautiful!" i flipped him off and yelled "fuck you!" and he yelled back "yo' mama!" i didn't even know people said that anymore. wow.
