  1. Just a heads up... In the next week or two we will be making some major upgrades to the site to bring the software and server fully up to date. While the upgrade happens the site will be offline for the day. There will be some quirkiness after the upgrade, but we'll get it all sorted out.

    Illuminandi - The Promise.

    Excellent Christian folk metal.

I like them both in English and Finnish. I will say that Uskon Puolesta / The Battle of God was better in the original Finnish version, while Enne / Frozen Inside was better in the English version (Johanna sounds more confident there).

Black No.1 is a gothic metal band from The Netherlands and distinguishes itself not only through their giant of a singer-bassplayer or one handed drummer but also through the fact that the female vocals are NOT opera, please check us out: www.blackno1.org

Black No.1 is competing for a spot at the finals of Metal Battle Alliance 2014 through Facebook. In order to get there we HAVE TO take at least 6nd place in the poll. Really? Emperor is easily one of my favorites.

Anyway, yeah, Ihsahn's solo work is fantastic and he got increasingly progressive and experimental with each subsequent release.

The sound of a concrete mixer polishing brass. Oh and "Live Free Or Die" by iced Earth. But the former kinda drowns out the latter.

If you haven't listened to this album yet, you're a loser.

Stop it, Rawshik... I miss Aletheian way too much to suffer through this :(

    On a positive note....

My package just arrived (preorder CD, shirt, pick)
and I'll be rocking this thing in a few minutes

(or maybe not, the wrap looks too good, I feel like I should just pirate it when it comes out and save this for my offspring)

I would have liked that if it didn't have cheesy lyrics written everywhere. I hate lyric videos.
