Yes, I'm a freshman at the University of Maine.
I just got back from a nice brunch of an English muffin with ham, raisin bran mixed with fruit and yogurt, and oreo brownie and a nice big cup of blueberry coffee.
Just got back from seeing Job for a Cowboy live. I'm certainly not their hugest fan, but they were actually quite good. The singer has a mammoth low growl and they were well tight.
Listening to Katatonia and working off a headache with my hand down my pants.
Listening to Devourment because Life Sucks mentioned them.
Just finished my Latin translations. Some passages from Cicero, Lucretius, Catullus and Caesar.
The Lucretius passage I found particularly beautiful...
...sic rerum summa novatur
semper, et inter se mortales mutua vivunt.
augescunt aliae gentes, aliae minuuntur,
inque brevi spatio mutantur saecla animantum
et quasi cursores vitai lampada tradunt
...thus the whole of things is always renewed,
and mortal men live among it through successive changes.
Some nations grow, others diminish,
and in a brief interval generations of living creatures are changed
and it is as if the runners of life are handing over the torches.
I watched that as well, I've always liked Italian football, it might not be as fast paced as the English leagues, but there's a lot of quality possession football.
currently insulting cookiecutter
Now I'm listening to them in honor of Wayne Knupp who I just learned died yesterday. I am very sad
Currently listening to Xasthur, waiting for some NFL action to commence.
Multiple organ failure due to alcohol abuse. He was a nice guy who had a lot of bad things happen to him, including the murder of his mother. Through it all he stayed positive and even started a label to support the music he loved. Truly a sad day.
That is sad, and such a short life. But he spent it doing what he loved, making music for fans of real music.
my bad, didnt know
reading and listening to Corelli's La Folia
about to make pancakes
I am hangoverless. 'Tis a great feeling.
why do us guys always stick our hands down our pants? is it the warmth?
Currently listening to Church Bizarre and still being pissed that my record player is busted. In other words, I'm procrastinating before I wrap up the rest of my homework.
