Camomile is good when you're sick IMO, but Pepermint is really awsome when you just "feel like a cuppa".
Black tea is also nice for a change, but screw me if you want me to drink it without milk!

I've been drinking it a bit without milk and I actually don't mind it. Peppermint tea is awesome, I need to get some more of that actually. I've been drinking green tea and then a bunch of crazy flavoured teas. There are some pretty bad flavoured teas out there, that's all I can say.

There's a cool metal doco called Heavy Metal : Louder Than Life that features
footage of oldschool bands up to now, and modern day interviews with alot
of old and new bands, and one people who features in it most is Dee.

Well, there's a second disc with the full Dee interview, among other things,
and Dee is talking about ballads. Part of it, from memory is....

"Metal and ballads go hand in hand, because of the emotion of the electric
guitar it's easier to express the feeling of a ballad, usually it's love and loss.
Record companies started seeing the success that metal bands were having
with the power ballad, so they signed a whole bunch. They released the
"credibility track" then went in with the power ballad. Then they saw that
that was huge, so they decided to eliminate the credibility track and just
go straight for the power ballad.

Then "someone" (gives look of disgust, adopts sarcastic derogatory tone of
voice) TESLA!!!!!!!! Decided to unplug their instruments, and say that
you can't play unless you can get down and soft and intimate with your
instrument. Then all of a sudden you've got "love of a lifetime" and "more than words" and that other fucking song. Then what the fuck do you need the metal band for? Well, i say, you can't play unless Bob Dylan and Joan Armatrading can plug into a Marshall 200 stack and RIDE THE FUCKING LIGHTNING!!!!....... TESLA!!!!!

I have way too much time on my hands haha.

I'm not sure if anyone noticed.. but the Sydney mx Newspaper now has a page on local gigs that are done through Moshtix... This may be beneficial for Sydney Metal in general as thousands and thousands of people read that paper everyday if some of the local metal gigs get advertised in there, who knows!!

Seeing "Play! The Video Game Symphony" last night. Seeing Super Mario done by an orchestra was fantastic and obviously I loved seeing the World of Warcraft music live.
