I like this sculpture that has been "erected" near my house.

    It's an owl.

Kick ass, one of the better movies I've watched in a while. It's a shame a sequel won't be made.

The altered version of John Murphys "Adagio in D-minor" from Sunshine was just as epic as the original as well. Good score all up really.

Crank 2. Not quite as good as the first one but still has some crazy laughs.

Except diesel is 12-15% more expensive, so there really isn't much of a saving.

Hmm, having a diesel car overseas really saved on petrol money as a tank could get you quite far and was the same price/cheaper than petrol. I always assumed it was cheaper in Australia as well.

EDIT: Wow, what do you know, a quick google shows studies that it cost more to run than a petrol car. I had no idea.

How bad are the lyrics though? The vocal melodies lack interest. I enjoy the album and am sad that they have chosen to exclude variety from there albums now. Whilst I like there heavy stuff I wish they would go back to their roots and stop with the riff fest. In saying that it's still an awesome album and I have their older albums if I want variety.

I was just watching the SIS youtube video in full screen and hit the arrow key while the video was loading. The dots that normally show the video loading turned into a game of snake !

(Reduced to window to take the screenshot). I just googled it and apparently you need to press left and up arrow at the same time to get it to go. Neat easter egg :).

Did you notice any diesel cars blowing black smoke over there?

To save money some use heating oil.

My early birthday present! Mainly because it's the first time in YEARS that I've been genuinely surprised by something. As of next weekend, I'll be an Highland Broadsword sword fighting student :)

Should be worth a laugh if nothing else
