Does anyone hope that, in addition to the new songs, the band will decide to pull out some older or lesser-played material? I for one would love to see The Edge of Forever or Dressed to Kill, or possibly some Twilight rarities like Relic or Dragon's Den. What does everyone think? By the way, I'll be happy with whatever they decide to play. This is just wishful thinking.
I'd like to hear Symphony X play a cover song, I don't think they've done that very many times in the past.
I'm hoping for a completely different setlist than what they've done. In the Dragons Den, Edge of Forever, A Fool's Paradise, BRING IT ON!!
I hear they do a pretty cool version of "Smokin" by Boston. THAT would be a nice little tribute, and it's a fairly short song.......
Or perhaps a Zappa tribute song? I hear MJR is a big Zappa fan.. That would be so amazing.. *daydreams*
It will be really but really amazing that they play some songs as Thorns Of Sorrow or Taunting, The Notorious with Russell on vocals. It will be awesome. But I think that songs as The Damnation Game, In The Dragon's Den, A Fool's Paradise and The Edge Of Forever can't be out of the setlist. I'M STILL WAINTING FOR YOU ROMEO HERE IN ARGENTINA!!!!
If they don't play Edge of Forever when they come around in July, someones brains are gonna be blown out.
