Toontrack has begun metal month for November 2017 - https://www.toontrack.com/metal-month/ Is there anything you would like to see from them?
I was going to say that I'd like to see some Thrash related MIDI, but they have already released this type of MIDI offering last Tuesday. https://www.toontrack.com/product/thrash-metal-midi/ Let's see what this Tuesday brings.
[Grandpa voice in/] I'm 41. I remember a time when if you wanted to make demos at home, you had to buy a K7 portastudio, an SM57 and a Boss DR-whatever. At this point, everything they wanna come up with is ok to me. I won't feel obligated to buy anything new for sure. By the way, If you can't use what is already out there, well fuck off, you know what I'm saying... If they can refine cymbal realism I'm all for it. But I'd still use a real drummer over it if I'm going for something real so It doesn't really matter all that much. Anyway. Fuck off I guess . Also I'm a bit drunk so fuck you.
I'm digging ~Burny~, drunk at 3:04 p.m. on a Monday and telling everyone to fuck off or directly fuck you. Very metal. Maybe toontrack will release some drunk mother fucking midi in honor of ~Burny~
The new toontrack release is more MIDI, not Fuck You Midi, but Doom/Core MIDI. Sounds killer to me, but I'm not drunk or stoned or both yet.
Hell yes \m/ The new Bob Rock SDX for Superior 3 is badass. Love the Metallica Kit - forget what they actually call it in the program, but Black Album quality drums for sure.
Audio samples are up too. Love that Mono kit .... https://www.toontrack.com/product/the-rock-foundry-sdx/
Two new releases today from Toontrack: the epic Power Metal Midi with Efraim Juntunen at the helm: https://www.toontrack.com/product/power-metal-midi/ and the Hard Rock Midi release performed by Rival Son's Michael Miley: https://www.toontrack.com/product/hard-rock-grooves/. I am very impressed with both releases. Probably pick up both at some point. Also, I'm happy to report that my band, Black Magik, made it onto the Toontrack customer jukebox offering this go round.
