    Metallica - Kill 'em All
    Decapitated - Winds of Creation

    No order

    Evile - Enter The Grave
    Metallica - Kill Em' All
Megadeth - Killing Is My Business... And Business Is Good!
    Municipal Waste - Hazardous Mutation
    Kreator - Pleasure To Kill
    Death - Scream Bloody Gore
FM Static - What Are You Waiting For? (Any genres rite?)
    Mercyful Fate - Melissa
    Annihilator - Alice In Hell
Morbid Angel - Altars Of Madness

Then again, only been into metal for a year so my opinion isn't really a good one. Took some tips from Podgie's list:p

EDIT: Switched out Black Future as it's apperently not Vektors Debut.

Demolition is a demo. Production is gash and contains half the same songs as Black Future. They've certainly been touting Black Future as their debut album.

Yeah, as much as we'd like it to have been, Cowboys from Hell wasn't Pantera's debut.

    Good lists everyone.

I've noticed a fair few of us have listed Morbid Angel's Altars of Madness. I think if I had to pick the best debut album, it would be Altars of Madness. It's such a great album, and as much as I enjoy Morbid Angel in general I feel it's by far their strongest record.

Though saying that, I think Decapitated's Winds of Creation is the most impressive debut album... mainly due to the fact that Vitek (who's performance on the album is one of the best drumming performances I have ever heard) was only 15 years old at the time of recording (I know, it's unbelievable!). His brother Vogg and vocalist Sauron were 18. I think that's an immense achievement in itself.
