Dark Tranquillity this Feb, maybe Kreator in November. The Canadian government decided to be stupid and charge international bands a bunch of extra money per band member for every venue a band plays. So I better enjoy the shows while I can because they pretty much just killed metal tours in canada. Not all bands are fuckin millionaire pop groups that can afford to pay hundreds of dollars per venue.
Sadly I am. Small clubs wont be able to afford to have a metal band that cant draw a full crowd, and there are a lot of great bands that dont necessarily have a big following everywhere, these bands might be able to draw a good crowd in a few places bit large scale tours would be off the table due to smaller clubs being unavailable in between big shows. If I ever make it to Sweden you can bet your ass I'll make an appearance in Stolkholm for some beers and metal.
