Towson was pretty cool, but Baltimore... I've been all over the place for shows, things got out of hand before, but that experience was surreally fucked up. I wanted to travel to Detroit for a show once, buuuut I think that's not happening. Like ever I think dt were playing Philly on every single US trek, so if this tour is official - it's not a bad thing to switch cities like that. HOB is a nice venue (seen Megadeth, Motorhead there), Atlantic City came a long way with all the renovations and stuff, so it's a pleasure to go there these days Oh, and the gambling, of course
Well...I guess I'm kind of glad, keep that TDWP out of my city! Yeah,I'll probably go on the casino bus, get my money back, and take it to the machines, I suppose if it were nicer, I could take DT to the beach.
Thank You!!! I've waited to see you guys for 10+ years. Even had tickets to some venues when I lived in Finland, but something would *always* come up! (2004 Tuska.. Had to go to the army like 2 days before! then cancellations etc) Will see you in Charlotte (or ATL)!
Pussy. I have walked around Baltimore daytime and night time wearing my Steelers jersey. And nothing happened.
I'm tempted to go to Florida this time I am not talking about "walking around", I am talking about wrong time, wrong place and wrong condition all coming together. I would go for me getting in trouble, but Yau too and for completely different reasons? That what's so fucked up about it. Tell me your "worst case scenario" story or fuck off, sporty.
Maybe they'll tour Canada with some half-respectable bands later this year. It's been so long since I've seen them, but it's not worth the flight for half-an-hour of DT, and then shit for the rest of the night... Devil Wears Prada opened at Sounds of the Underground that year that Amon Amarth were there. After they played, they said something along the lines of, "If anyone wants to come talk about Jesus, we'll be hanging out at the merch table all night." ...uke:
I see nothing wrong with them saying that at the end of their show. It doesn't hurt to show some tolerance not even as a metalhead towards Christianity.
well, u better enjoy them since they skipped us (meaning close-up båten) for the US tour haha =) Ofcourse u should show respect, but u can still think its somewhat odd....which it is in my ears.
ofcourse, i didnt say they shouldnt have cancelled it, it would obv been pure stupidity to do the reverse (as in skipping the US tour in favor for close-up)... but I still feel im entitled to make a bitter comment as the opportunity to be the first one to hear most of the new material suddenly vanished....=) or were u aiming at DWPs potential exploitation of Jesus?=)
LOL It's called having a brain. I never find myself in a worst case scenario, shit can always get worse than my "ordeals", sporty.
You have no clue what I'm talking about. That experience was like being jumped in a dark alley or something, out of nowhere, so please, stick your fucking brain in your fucking ass, because you keep talking out of it.
My philosophy is to make the worst case scenario even worse, in defiance of it being the worst case scenario. Gotta keep shit interesting, yo.
