Here's my guess for the first set tomorrow: War of the Gods Tock's Taunt Destroyer of the Universe Slaves of Fear Live Without Regret The Last Stand of Frej For Victory or Death Wrath of the Norsemen A Beast Am I Doom Over Dead Man
I hope they play aerials Im going to the show in St. Paul on Friday, I'll do my best to try to remember the order of the songs they play.
OMG do you really think they will play the whole new album live? But...what abouth all the other great songs they have? Will there be time for those? Hmm, well, I guess you will be pretty much right there
If I end up going on the 30th, I'll let you guys know what they played, but I doubt I'll be going due to work and other things.
I, on the other hand hope not. Good as a filler on the album but not to be played live, they have way too many of their own songs.
Oli promised some interesting twists for the US tour when I talked to him in Dublin. Maybe a banjo cover of victorious march for all the backwoods rednecks out there.
hahaha I love the banjo, probably my most fav instrument Have heard this punk band use it without audience though, would love to see Oli have a go at it
Well, I wasn't in Chicago, but this review http://metalkaoz.com/live-reports/960-amon-amarth-bottom-lounge-chicago-us.html has a setlist in it for ppl to confirm. Shit, 1000 years and vict march, damn I'm gonna be a happy camper in California in about 1 week and the coming three days
Show last night was awesome. The setlist they played after Surtur Rising was Twilight of the Thunder God Masters of War Live For The Kill With Oden On Our Side Guardians of Asgaard Asator Varyags of Miklagaard Thousand Years of Oppression Without Fear Victorious March/Gods Of War Arise/Death In Fire Cry of the Blackbirds Runes To My Memory Pursuit Of Vikings
Why are those writen that way, shouldn't they be like this : Victorious March Gods Of War Arise Death In Fire
Indeed! I really hope Without Fear, Thousand Years of Opression and especially Gods of War Arise stay in the set for the shorter shows in Europe. That would be killer
