This release, The Downfall double cd is a collection of the early days of The Gathering. This means the era with Bart Smits on vocals (1989 – 1993). The double cd will contain a lot of previous unreleased material, for example the extreme rare 92 promo (only 7 copies made back then, 6 for the original band members and one for the Vic Records owner), rare radio interviews, a Celtic Frost cover (Dethroned Emperor) plus the ‘Moonlight Archer’ demo (1991), the ‘An Imaginary Symphony’ demo (1990) and the 2 track 1991 e.p.. The booklet will have special liner notes about the early days and rare pictures.
This dcd will contain at least 35 minutes of material that has NEVER been released before. In addition Vic Records will release a DVD with rare material of the Gathering in their early days. Both will be strictly limited to 1.000 copies.
