Do you own any Waves plugins? Because I can think of about 6 off the top of my head that don't suck and are actually quite good.

Many Waves plugins are good imho. I'm a huge fan of SSL's.

I was looking forward to this only to find out that the free plugin is one I already have. They normally give away the shitty stuff (last year it was One Knob pumper I think which I've never used on anything since then lol). TrueVerb is not bad at all to get for free.

Waves seem to ditch the old License Center software for the new Waves Central. And this shit exits with an error when I try to install anything.

I wouldn't write it off just because it's old. It's not amazing but it's another option and it's certainly as good as anything that comes free with a DAW.
