Insania... it's BENUMB. They are kinda old school punk/thrash. Hirax is from SoCal... Benumb is from the East Bay (I think).

I don't think I have heard of any of those bands aside from Hirax.

Thanks, toilethead! The drummer wrote me YEARS ago asking me to link their site to my home page. I don't think he sent me a CD ;)... I was only guessing by the way they looked.

Benumb is a pretty decent band... Hirax? Wow... that's WAY old-school.

The rest of the bands though, leave me confused.

Haven't you seen Hirax in the L.A. area? That's where Katon lives!

Unfortunately, too far to drive for too few bands I recognize...

It's supposed to be a "West Coast Thrash Fest" but what about DRI, Exodus, Violence, Testament, Imagika, Kaos, and all the other local bands that SHOULD be on that list?

It's a show that Katon of Hirax put together - it's not a "Bay Area thing." Granted, it will be held in the Bay Area and have Bay Area bands playing, but Katon's from SoCal.

Did that make any sense? :loco:
