What would a forum be without this thread?

    Chris Cornell - Songbook

Man, incredible voice, acoustic guitar. It's exactly what you would expect it to be. So if Chris Cornell solo acoustic sounds appealing, you'll like it. If not, you won't.

Been listening to this band nonstop for the last week or so.. Very similar vein to Anathema/Porcupine Tree/Oceansize

Couldn't find the Boccherini song on youtube, but stumbled upon another work by him that I am currently enjoying. Cello rules.

Local Band from the DC area.. Solid production, heavy riffs, clean vocals, great ambient moments.

You can download the album for free. Highly recommend.

    Soundgarden - Superunknown.

Love every single song on this album. Been on a huge 90's alternative kick this week.

I could never get into Soundgarden. The only good thing about them to me was Chris Cornell. Other than that, I though the songs were extremely mediocre.

Mr. Adams! Welcome to our forum. Also, Amorphis rules.

Last thing I listened to was some Paysage D'Hiver. Super atmospheric.

My brother just turned me on to this album.. A solid progressive rock album with touches of death and power metal.

Thanks! I thought I posted in here before this, but I guess there's a first time for everything.

These past few days i've been really getting back into Fear Factory. They're coming to my area pretty soon so i'm pretty pumped for that too.

I used to be pretty into Fear Factory, but not so much anymore. Actually the last time I listened to Demanufacture, I couldn't even get through it all. A lot of the vocal parts sound absolutely awful, plus it gets a bit monotonus after a few songs.

Still listening to Paysage D'hiver pretty hard. Something about their self titled release really appeals to me, mostly the atmopsphere. If you can get past the really really really "true" production, I'd check it out.

I'm absolutely in love with this album. RPWL - Beyond Man and Time... Kind of sounds like a modern Pink Floyd.
