Im getting into Black Ambient and im wondering what are the best cd's by these bands to buy?:

    Xasthur
    Burzum
    Paysage D'Hiver
    Leviathan/Lurker of Chalice
    Wolves in the Throne Room
    Nachtmystium

Not: I already have All Reflections Drained by Xasthur. I dont think its his best so i want to buy another one. I was actually going to buy a different one but all the shop had left in stock was All Reflections Drained. And i know Nachtmystium isnt Black Ambient

    Thanks,
    Pyro

Nocturnal Poisoning is the actual debut, but that's good too.

Your search for Leviathan albums ends at The Tenth Sub Level of Suicide and the Lurker of Chalice self-titled is fairly good as well.

Their self-titled demo is great, but I would tend to agree with Vilden.

Oh but i am going to bother.

Ive checked out their self titled demo and schattengang. I much prefer the s/t album but overall i much prefer Darkspace to Paysage D'Hiver. If i can ever get their S/T album for a reasonable price on ebay then i will (i prefer to own albums to downloads if i like the music) but for now ill stick with a download and Darkspace.
