Dark Tranquillity is the only melodic death band still releasing good music. When many bands have broken up, and many others have began to release shit albums over the past 4 or 5 years, Dark Tranquillity is still strong as ever.

They simply stole the show last night in Little Rock. So many people left half-way through Opeth... I hope the band now sees that they could sell out a lot of US clubs as the headliner.

On top of the music, it has to be the live experience for me... absolutely astonding the one time I saw them and that was with a mostly indifferent audience. On a rather more minor note there I like the album artwork too :)

In Aardschok magazine, somewhere around the time shortly after the album had been released.

It was reviewed by Wim Baelus, rating: 9/10, I still remember! :)

The combination between melodic and aggressive parts, Mikael´s voice. Plus it was the first death metal band I listened to.
