Opeth - Heritage Opeth - Pale Communion Opeth - Sorceress Opeth - In Cauda Venenum Interesting that happened with this albums. I easily discarded all but Pale Communion, mainly because of production issues: a lot of distortion, mixed heavily on the bass side. My favorite was Pale Communion because the production is pretty good, even for the 70s sound that Akerfeldt was aiming (Steven Wilson mixing it didn't hurt). However, I'm currently listening to them using headphones and quality is much better than what I remembered when I first listened to them in my car. Now I have to say In Cauda is the weakest although it may have Opeth's greatest guitar solo in Lovelorn Crime.
