No offence "saxon747rock" but I would like to re-work this thread along the lines of:

"A Few SONGS WE REALLY WANT TO HEAR" be it real oldies, or ones we all love and cherish, ("Sea of life" for Pax come's to mind or play "Sea of life yer b*stard as it's become known) as lets face it we all know the the mainstays :worship: of the Saxon set will be played.

Generally I love the fast ones, opening with "Heavy Metal Thunder" is a great opener for me. :headbang:

But the songs I REALLY WANT TO HEAR @ Sheffield are as follows:

    747
Princess of the night (for me you can't play 747 without playing Princess)
    The thin Red line
    Broken Heroes

And maybe for sentimentality stake on a personal note (bearing in mind I first saw Saxon live on the innocence tour and obviously many more after)

    Back on the streets

COME ON SAXON BE TRUE TO BIFFS WORDS "WHAT DO YOU WANT TO HEAR ?"

I have to say my setlist isn't exactly the setlist that I personally would choose (although it is pretty damn close to it). It was more of a setlist that I would want, plus a setlist that covered most of Saxons career, and was a good mix of old, middle and new, and a setlist that all fans (new and old) would be into.

But if I had to pick three songs that I DEFINITELY wanted to hear, then it would be -

    Lionheart.
Sea Of Life (You bastard  )
    See The Light Shining.
