Judas Priest - Last Rose Of Summer very odd song to hear from Priest. soppy rock ballad from the Sin After Sin album.
Guns N' Roses - Shackler's Revenge Gaaah I wish they'd just hurry the fuck up and release the album already.
Dead Soul Tribe - Let The Hammer Fall One of many bands I find myself enjoying a lot more when I listen to them without any particular expectations.
Dead Soul Tribe are an awesome band. one of my favs. can't get enough of them, as this thread proves. Now playing: Neskimos - Metroid Norfair Ten Ement Blues a cover of a theme from the Metroid game with added vocals. reminds me a little of early NiN stuff. only good. :Smug:
STEVE VON TILL - A Grave Is A Grim Horse the vocalist from Neurosis' solo album. haunting is one way to put it. has a great gruff blues voice. highly recommended!
The Scott Kelly album "The Wake" is by the Neurosis singer - it was released as a double album type deal with the Steve Von Till one.
Been listening to Death Magnetic for most of the morning... as much as it shits all over St Anger and it has some fairly decent moments, it's mostly a very uninspired mish-mash of the various generic thrashy elements from the first four albums . I'm starting to see why Hammett didn't want to play solos any more. Then again I suppose that means most 'old-school' Metallica fans should like it.
Rage - Animal Instinct finally got around to checking this album out after so many people here banged on about Rage and such. yet to form a full opinion.
