My buddy told me he watched a Youtube video where Skolnick sat in for a song with the Maidens. He's one of my favorites.

Tribeca Rock Club (Downtown Manhattan, New York, NY) Wednesday, June 18, 2003: New York, New York! It's one of the dreams come true for the Maidens to be playing Manhattan. On a Wednesday night in the heart of New York, the crowd unbelievably packed the club. More, the Iron Maidens had Alex Skolnick, the metal legend turning jazz guitarist, come down to jam on "The Trooper", giving Adrianne Smith a chance to reunite with her long-time guitar hero, mentor and friend. Special thanks to Mark Garcia from local Maiden tribute "Sanctuary" and Saucy-Jack from "Gods of Fire" for loaning the gear, and Duke, the wonderful soundman.

Thanks, he went back to Testament after 2003, 2005 I think.. And now he's doing jazz again. He did an album and tour with Savatage as well.
