Hey guys, I'm going to NYC in february and kinda confused where to find any info about live shows in that city and nearby area... Google basically gets me only big named (mostly pop) artists, but I wanna go on more 'local' gigs. I'm into all things hardcore/metal/grind It would be really appreciated if you could point me some resource with that kind of info. Also, if any of you just want to hang out, have a couple of beers and talk about studios, mic placements and pussy-picking related problems, I'll be more than happy to meet you guys when I'll be there.
Where to go? Right back out again. Just make sure you're white, they like to stop and frisk without any real reason for doing so. Anyhow, most shows don't seem to post more than a month in advance. This is metal man, aint nobody got time to be planning ahead. haha
check out tour schedules of USA bands you dig. if they have an NYC date you are sure to run into some local acts opening and like minded moshers.
