In My Time of Need...I'd gotten GR and Damnation when I was curious about Opeth, and listened to that and was an instant Opeth fan. That or Ghost of Perdition. Nevertheless I was hooked. :worship:

First tune I ever heard by Opeth was actually Remember Tomorrow (Maiden cover). Thought I'd check 'em out and I picked up Morningrise. I think MAYH had just come out, so picked that up a few weeks after absorbing Morningrise. Way back then, they were the first band to make me respect TEH BLAK METULZ REBEL GROWLZZZZ!!!:kickass:

    ...and so here I am...

First song I heard from them was The Grand Conjuration in the radio back in 2005, but what got me hooked was Harvest!

I think Closure was the song that got me into Opeth. I had heard Damnation before, but for some reason I thought it was boring. Also, I wasn't and still for the most part not into death metal vocals. But after that the Damnation grew on me, then Ghost Reveries grew on me, and now I like all their stuff.
