Because....he's better than you at guitar? That seems the most logical answer.

Eh, a little. Getting the sweep taps in is hard. That's about it though.

muhamed is awesome, but he is awesome for the riffs, cause the solos get old fairly fast. Great live band!

eh, yeah... he does need more variety in the solos, but there are certain songs where the solos stand out and just blow you away

So, still a Necrophagist solo if it's done by Sami. I didn't say anything about Muhammed doing the Epitaph solo, just that I loved it.

Actually it wasn't Sami, either. Christian was the other guitarist's name, he left then Sami took over.

Sami plays it flawlessly, as did Christian when he wrote it.

but it's without a doubt that Muhammed is the one in the band that rapes the Christian women and children

The technique of the solos sound exactly like violin. To my ears anyway. I think it's a wonderful style.
I'm more about that band for the riffs and the way the riffs compliment he drum parts/drum parts compliment the riffs.

Uhh, no. Their stuff is up there on difficulty level with Becker. Sweeps are harder because they incorporate taps. Muhammed's riffs are also a million times harder than any Cacophony riff.

With that said, I love both.

I wasn't talking about the riffs. Muhammed plays the same patterns and sweep-picked arpeggios in every solo, he is not brilliant in that regard. Hell, all the songs are in the same key! Tapped arpeggios aren't anything too hard anyway. I don't find his soloing anything truly special. Do I like the band, yes I've bought both of their cds. I wouldn't even consider Muhammed a pimple on Becker's ass though.
