    Lopez is one of my favorite drummers... ever... His absence from Opeth would be a tremendous loss... Axe is great and he did a great job covering for Lopez live, but I think that, as said before, Lopez's jazz and soul would be greatly missed.

    I hope Martin Lopez is feeling better, if he returns then that it is cool.

    But Martin Axenrot is an excellent drummer as well. I'm happy with either one.

    I hope he comes back but i've got a strong feeling that he won't. I don't think Axenrot would be a good replacement. They'll have to just audition a bunch of new drummers I guess.

    Because none of the other ones have the sincerity as that one. Props to you Opeth8 and I also hope to see Lopez back soon. I hope he realizes how much he truly means to all the fans and the band is not the same without him.

    I just hope that he gets better. Maybe you are right about the personal issues thing, that could be a possibility. Let's just hope that that isn't what it is. Get well Martin!

    It is true that we aren't owed anything, but discussing the situation can't hurt anything. I have a feeling that he is not going to return which greatly disappoints me because he is my favorite drummer.

    If for some reason Martin Lopez does not return, it wouldn't happen, but I'd think Tomas Corn would be an interesting canidate for the job.

    When the loss of a drummer has the potential to affect a band greatly, you know they're a complete unit. I just had to say that.

    But I hope Lopez is able to return. I thought Deliverance was some of his best work (among personal favourites). I wouldn't complain about having Axenrot, but Lopez is perfect for the job. I just hope he's able to maintain good health, above all else.

    No more Lopez means no more Tamborines on upcoming albums...no more groovy parts and half of the south american part in opeth would be missin' ='(
